Reviews
Solid sandwich spot in Redwood City located right along the intersection of Broadway and El Camino! They do have a parking lot but it's super small, probably only enough space for five cars. They have a couple of tables to sit at inside, all with barstool seating. The menu was extensive, but didn't seem to be as varied as the other Ike's location I went to. I'm interested to see how the menu changes across locations. Ordered the Hot Mama and got a bag of chips for checking in on Yelp. The sandwich was ready in around 10 minutes and was sizable. The chicken tasted like a rotisserie chicken from Costco (in other words, quality) and the Frank's Red Hot added some good spice while keeping the chicken from being too dry. However, when the Frank's ran out, the sandwich was a little bland. This is no way affected my rating, but they had an older digital POS system (it only takes card, no Apple Pay) that was a little hard to use; the cashier had to show me how to swipe my card through it. I thought this was kinda cool, cause I mainly see businesses using Toast, Clover, or Square terminals. For the amount of food you get for the price (around $13) and the quality of the meat, Ike's is definitely worth stopping by.
Whenever I come here they always listen to what I can't have specifically, allergies, and are so nice about it! I love this location! The parking sucks but it's definitely worth the short walk!!
Amazing sandwich chain. So many fun combinations. I love the Dutch crunch here! I recommend ordering to go. It's fun that they give you lollipops with each order at all. They're pretty quick too!
Filling veggie Sandwich with amazing flavor! And great service! Try the purple B veggie blt
Delicious. I know it's just a sandwich. We ordered three of them. They were all delicious. And on top of that, they have Halal options. My daughter says they've always had them and everybody knows that. However, I'm putting it out there again for those of us who don't know that. I don't know the name of the gentleman that served us, but he was great. Efficient. Very polite. And attentive.
